I am 40 years old professional women. Last year, when my first daughter was two and half years old, my husband and I decided to have a second child. Allergic Reaction Causes Severe Skin Damage

It all started from 2 months ago, when I went to a clinic to have oil body massage. The skin on my neck turned red a little afterward. I thought it is a good sign that toxin leaving my body through skin. In the end, it turns like burns everywhere around my neck, both ears, and part of my face. The right side of it even looks like an open wound that burns, stings, and itched like hell. I could not sleep at night.

Summer solstice health care
At Traditional Chinese Medicine between the summer solstice and autumn equinox, we call it long summer. In New Zealand, long summer is about from 22nd Dec to 20st Mar 2011.
And it is quite different between summer and long summer. Summer is good for nourishing heart, but long summer is for spleen.  It is easy to catch get sick if your long summer spleen is not healthy. Humid weather makes the body easy to catch dampness. To reduce Humid dampness in your body here is some tips to help you.
1. DO drink less alcohol.  And eat less BBQ meat, because in Chinese medicine alcohol and meat accumulates dampness in the body.
2. DO eat less hot spicy, greasy, and high-sugar foods as this produces unbalanced heat energy and could weaken your body.
3. DO drink plenty of water; drink at least 2000 cc per day. Water is the key to good health. It detoxifies, cleanses, and purifies the blood and the entire human body.
4. DO eat some watermelon, to cool your body.

Dumplings for Chinese New Year (Spring Festival)


In China, especially in northern China, making and eating dumplings is an important activity for most families on New Year's Eve in Spring Festival. The wrapper is usually made from flour and water, but the fillings vary a lot, ranging from all sorts of meat and vegetables to seafood, mushrooms and even fruit. Dumplings are meniscus, angular or ingot shaped traditionally, but nowadays they are made into flowers, birds, fish and insects, more like arts and crafts than food. It is also a tradition in northern China to eat dumplings on the day of winter solstice.

Tomato Egg Drop Soup for Long Summer

Ingredients:
4 tomatoes
1 onion
1 tablespoon oil
3 cups chicken stock (1 cup = 250 ml)
1 egg, beaten
salt and pepper
Directions:
Skin and cut the tomatoes and cut the onion into eighths.
Heat the oil in a large saucepan.
Add the tomatoes and onion and fry for 5 minutes or until softened but not browned.
Pour off excess oil and add the stock, salt, pepper and other more seasonings.
Bring to the boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
Add the egg slowly, stirring constantly, until it separates into shreds.
